Hi there, just completed an avidyne install on a beech baron. On the six place intercom all 4 pax come through very quiet and they need headset volume right up to last to hear pilot and Co pilot. All were using bose a20s. Pilot and co pilot works as you would want it to. Any ideas!? Thanks

I have one in my Bonanza and it works great. Have you tried the obvious like adjusting the passenger volume knob on the unit? Also, if you upgraded from an older system, the headset jacks need to be rewired for stereo and all of the headsets need to be in stereo mode. Check the Bose headset dip switches.

Hi Gring - the tip to change the headset setting to stereo did the trick - all positions now hear perfectly and it works great!

Great, you'll find that holds true with most audio panels. Where there is a mismatch between how the airplane is wired vs how the headset is set (mono or stereo), you will hear out of only one ear.
