I've been playing with the IFD simulator and I understand that Avidyne wants to show off some of the capabilities of the IFD units in the simulator, but I really don't need to see traffic flying around me when all I'm doing is learning how the sequencing works for approaches. Is there a way to turn off the traffic alerts on the simulator? Also the simulator crashes occasionally, I'm hoping some work is going into the sim to improve its stability. Lastly, any chance Avidyne will (re)release a copy of the simulator to run on a windows machine? Jeff

No, there is not currently any way to turn that off. I'm not sure when we'll be able to get that ability into the app, but we're aware of the request.
We used to have a Windows simulation, but it became too time consuming to support (e.g. update it for each release, provide tech support, etc.)
