Stratus 3 Open Mode (Android)

   The Stratus 3 by default is in "Foreflight" mode which cannot be used to connect the Stratus to the IFD, you need to put the Stratus in open mode and Appareo doesn't provide a tool to do so for Android devices.

Thankfully one of the users of the (Free) Android EFB Avare created just such a tool, you can download the tool  from the playstore, it is a very simple program to use -
