The VOR/DME 17 into KVCV missed approach specifies a climb to 3500 feet, then a turn to heading 300 until intercepting course 269 outbound from VCV VOR. The problem is, anything but a turbojet would make it from the MDA of 3200 to 3500 prior to crossing the 269 radial, so the aircraft just stays on heading 300 forever, north of the intercept radial, never to cross it. I also tested this on the GTN 750; the procedure is coded the same in the 750, but flown differently. The 750 sets its own intercept course -- 270° or so -- until it reaches the radial, then resumes the procedure. No idea where that 270 intercept is coming from, but it does at least work.
