Are there any external cameras that are supported by R9 at this time?  (My interest is in both the EVS type of camera and even a simple GoPro type of camera)

Please advise.

Hi TJ,

R9 was STC'd with the MaxViz EVS camera.  We had to establish compatibility, function and installation with that camera.  The Avidyen STC covers the display of the EVS image and the drawings for wiring to the EVS camera.  Our STC doesn't cover how to mount the camera.  How to mount the camera is part of the camera STC, which was received by OneSky Aviation in Alaska.  You would order the camera and STC from them.

The OneSky contact is Cary Foster, (907) 245-1759, and their website is, http://www.oneskyaviation.com/, but it doesn't seem to have many details. Cary will provide you with the camera model that you need. 

The GoPro type of HD camera is not supported by the STC.
