IFD540 WiFi disconnects

   My IFD540 seems to consistently drop my connection to my ADSB device. I used a Stratus 3 for a year, recently changed to a SkySensor. It connects and works but will almost always drop connection soon after take off. When I force it to reconnect, by choosing the IFD Hotspot, then disconnecting, then connecting to the ADSB device it will work for a while, then disconnect again. All the while my IFlyEFB ipad continues to show traffic.  It happened today on an IFR flight after take off while climbing out. Then again several times through the day. All the while the iPad seems happy.

What could be the cause and then the solution? For today's flight I tried changing the skysensor wifi channel to 6 and turning off auto select. That didn't seem to help, maybe was worse.
