I've had some syncing issues with IFD100/IFD440 a couple of times now and I'm trying to determine if there is a better way to handle things.  The situation works out like this:

- Create route on IFD100 and it populates to IFD440
- Fly said route.
- Have lunch, get back in plane

- Create return route in IFD440 (do not open IFD100)
- Take off
- Open IFD100 which had the old route
- Now both the 440 and IFD100 have the old route and I get to re-program the new route into the IFD440 or IFD100.

It's particularly sporty when this happens in flight and I have the autopilot engaged :-D

Is there anyway to have the newer route win?  This is potentially specific to the active route.

Thank you!

I believe this known bug is fixed in AvIOS release 10.3.2.2 and its corresponding IFD100 release.

That's good to know at least.

Anyone heard any updates about 10.3.2.2?  When I talked to the team at OSH they said it should be ready in 3-4 week so hopefully it's getting close-ish.

I believe it is on a limited release now. Pending few install issues, then it is supposed to be fully released. I have not seen any release info regarding the updated IFD100.

The 10.3.2.2 thread here on the Avi forum says that (as of today, 19 August 2025) a new IFD100 release is coming "soon" and that it addresses the flight plan prioritization issue. And not a moment too soon!

... and the new IFD100 is now on the app store!  Look for "AviOS 10.3.2.2" in the icon.

But just in case it's not clear - that version is only compatible with 10.3.2.2.  If you're not running 10.3.2.2, don't use it.

Ouch. This is going to hose lots of people who have automatic App Store updates turned on. Tell your support team to get ready for the flood of angry support tickets.

It appears the 10.3.2.2 version of the IFD100 is a complete separate app from the AviOS 10.3 version of the IFD100. There should not be any issues with the IFD100 automatically updating to the new version.

Is it compatible with the iPad mini 6th Gen? I do not see it in my App Store (USA). Thanks

Yep. We've tested the new IFD100 (to be used with IFDs running 10.3.2.2) on iPad mini 4th and 6th generations, running different versions of iPadOS.

The new IFD100 app should appear in the App Store for all iPads running iPadOS 13.0 and above. Your iPad mini 6th generation shipped with a compatible version of iPadOS. You should be good.

I'm not sure why you're not seeing it. I just checked from an iPad mini. I see the app when searching for "IFD100" and also after searching for "Avidyne" in the App Store. If you would, search again from the iPad and let us know what you discover.

Thank you!
Gary
