I have the data pane on the right side of my IFD configured to show Nearest Airport as one of the fields, I noticed while flying the other day that this does not seem to respect the setting to filter airports (specifically a minimum length runway) it was showing me an 1800' grass runway which I would not consider suitable for an emergency landing in my aircraft.
Is there another setting I have missed to make sure this shows the same data that going to FMS NRST tab?

The datablock is using the unfiltered list. I'll create an enhancement request.

Just an observation. I would think that any place to successfully place the aircraft on the ground should be part of the equation, I realize that some folks have "different" degrees of what "constitutes" an EMERGENCY in their specific aircraft. I live in a very remote part of Montana where the terrain makes some "close" landing places either "the ONLY" place to avoid tree or slope impact, but my 182 even with its power, requires an "engine" to get to some suitable or better crash sites, and having a second powerplant even with an FOM from a corporate gig, gives other solutions....JMO Steve, thanks for looking at this...In the Rhino, and viper, the criteria were different but the regs required specific solutions...
