I am very pleased with how the IFD 440 operates in conjunction with the IFD 100 on my Ipad, but I cannot transfer flight plans from one to the other. How do I enable this?

Well, answered elsewhere too, but for anyone else here...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An IFD100 is a separate "virtual" IFD with its own library of saved routes, much like a second IFD440 would be, if you had two in your panel. The IFD100 is not an EFB kind of program, where you have to upload flight plans to a certified panel GPS, before you can use them.
Instead, once the IFD100 is in the cockpit, and wifi connected to your IFD440, you just activate the desired route on the IFD100, then that route will be immediately active on your in panel IFD440 as well. I suppose you could then save that active flight plan to your library (FMS|Route) on the IFD440, if you wanted it retained on that device as well.
Make sense?
Now, you can save out all your routes to a USB key, and then bulk copy them all to another device (virtual or panel mounted) if you wanted to. You just set the devices into the maintenance side, just like where you update the databases, and follow the menus to save the routes out, and then upload them elsewhere.
Thank you from another user. That makes good sense. Carrying that logic forward, then how do you see the set up pages on the IFD 100 and the panel IFDs interoperability. Especially in the area of display of Intersections displaying on the IFD 100. Seems like the flight plans reflect in the same way, but set-ups are independent in the same manner as you described. This brings me to a little different question of why Intersections set up on the IFD 100 software looks active but cannot be selected or displayed other than i n a programmed flight plan? Do you find this to be true?
I think I read about the intersection issue here. I don't have any iThingies, so at present can't run an IFD100 myself, so no first hand experience with it.
