In order to get charts, I had to 'deactivate' the app then reactivate.  Charts were then available, which I downloaded.  Navdata and Obstacle data showed already downloaded.  The charts are now available but now my navdata is missing.  The FMS page says 'No Nav Database' and 'reload database'.  I exited the app and when I restart, I go straight into the IFD100 app and not the page that allows me to download data.  I deleted the IFD100 app and reinstalled but get the same behavior.  It looks like the initial page that gives the option to download does flash up for less than a second but the app immediately goes into the normal IFD100 operational page.  I'm on a 5th generation mini with plenty of free space.

When you deactivate, the databases are removed from the iPad.  Just call Jeppesen and tell them that you accidentally deleted the nav databases from your app and have them reset the count.  Then you should be able to download them again.

You can always get back to the Jepp download page on the IFD100 by going to the AUX-SYS page and pressing "Update Databases" just like you do in the real IFD.
