With the AXP322 being remote, there doesn't seem to be any power on/off possibility since the AXP340 MODE button is missing. The only AXP322 operational info that I've found is in the IFD PG. There is no AXP322 PG.

Is there any way to do this from the panel, other than pulling and resetting the circuit breaker?

Also, how does one get the AXP322 into configuration mode to enter the various setup options? I suppose this is found in the installation manual which is only available to avionics reps? How can one retrieve the aircraft code that is configured without going through said avionics reps (==>$$$$$)?

The AXP322 settings are controlled directly from the IFD, on a dedicated maintenance page together with some added settings on the user setup page, both accessible by the end user.

I have never had a need to power cycle the 322, but I do have a breaker I could use.

Other than setting the code (with the keyboard) and IDENTing (with a switch on the yoke), I never do anything with the mode or other functions, it switches appropriately and automatically from GND to ACTIVE mode. On the ground, in GND mode, it will respond to ASDE-X ground radar.

I have a similar question.

The plane I bought had a 540 put in it after a 550 was installed.  The SkyTrax322 stopped sending the Aircraft identification to ADS-B and the FAA grounded us from rule airspace until rectified.

We went into the maintenance menu on the IFD540 and put the tail number back in but it’s still not transmitting the data to ADS-B.

Does anyone have an install manual for this or at least that section of programming?  It’s annoying to have to find a dealer, work it in, and pay hundreds of dollars for something I can probably do in about 30 minutes if I had the manual.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Check Flight ID on the setup page.  Is it set to your tail number?

On the latest software, it seems that there are two places where you need to put our Flight ID info...
One is in the Mx mode where you enter your HEX ID code, and one in the user setup page where you set your Flight ID.
This bit me after my latest SW update.

The HEX ID code must be entered in the MX pages; The flight ID code is used if you're doing something like a Veterans Airlift Command flight where you're not flying under your normal N number, but something like Hero340, etc... Nice feature add! Set the flight ID to your normal callsign for normal ops...
