There’s been a recent thread on the Cirrus list about the MFD displays for the Garmin 500 TXi. Many current TXi users are unhappy that the Garmin MFD engine display shows only the temperature readout for the hottest cylinder, displaying the rest as colored bars, unlike our current Entegra MFD engine display, which shows both bars and temp numbers for each cylinder.

The new G7 Cirrus announcement shows that Garmin has improved the MFD engine display to now offer temps for all cylinders.

Can we ask that these be part of the Vantage MFD engine display? Having only a single temperature showing for CHT and EGT on the summary thumbnail is fine, but on the MFD engine page itself, it would be a big loss not to be able to see the individual temperatures on each CHT and EGT as we do on Entegra.

The preview pictures of Vantage currently suggest that only the highest temperature is displayed, like the TXi, but not like the current Entegra.

Vantage shows a bar graph of each cylinder and then shows the temperature of the hottest one.

I'd like to echo the request for temps for all EGTs and CHTs on Vantage. At the very least, I think we should be able to see the highest and lowest (with ID of which cylinder is each).

Me too ... there is so much black space on that engine page ... why not display the data like it was on Entegra??

for sure the presentation could be a bit better. As a pilot you need information that is easily presented and I would want to see all the temps at once.

I have posted this to the COPA Forums, but wanted to share here as well for increased visibility.

I too believe that individual EGT and CHT temp displays are vital to running our engines, both in monitoring general performance, but more importantly in an abnormal/emergency engine situation.

Here is my attempt as reworking the Engine Page "inner" screen on the existing(Test videos) of Vantage so show ALL Individual-  CHT and EGT values.

I also utilized the blank space to display additional information.
In this case, I have setup Lean Assist to have its own real-estate, always showing the Absolute  along with a small panel to "Log" the Peaks, Deltas, and Fuel Flows of each Cylinder.

Here is the "Current" Vantage Engine screen that has been made public in YouTube videos and webinars:
