Just received the update but first flights show the following:
1. It used to go red over 30 inches MP - now just turns yellow(I have an SR-22 turbo normalized 2. I get an excessive fule rate warning way below 36 GPS 3. Constant load squeal on leading at 500AGL and below. 4. I get FTLA inoperative warning 30% of time in flight. Are these known issues or a problem with my Install? |

Some thoughts are below. Did you upgrade to 9.3 from a 9.2.X or an earlier load?
Issue 1: There was an intentional change to fix manifold pressure digital coloring on 9.3, but it should not have affected alert thresholds if it was an upgrade from 9.2.x. In Really old software:
Arc ranges [10------ 29.6---- 32 ----- 35]
No Change
Digital colors:
0-29.6 digits white
29.7-32 yellow
32.1-36 digits red Caution (yellow) alert posted
when MAP > 29.7 and RPM >= 1400 for 5 seconds To avoid nuisance alerts, we removed the yellow alert which also
removed the yellow digits coloring. 9.2.x:
Arc ranges [10 ------ 29.6---- 32 ----- 35]
Digital colors:
0-32 digits white
32.1+ digits red Warning (red) alert posted when MAP > 32 and RPM >= 1400 for 5 seconds On 9.3, we allowed alert thresholds to be set independent of the colored ranges, so we put the yellow digital coloring back 9.3:
Arc ranges [10------ 29.6---- 32 ----- 35]
No Change
Digital colors:
0-29.6 digits white
29.7-32 yellow
32.1-36 digits red Warning (red) alert posted
when MAP > 32 and RPM >= 1400 for 5 seconds We ran a quick test using the R9.3 config and it appears that all is working as expected except that the alert fires at > 32.1 instead of > 32. From our information, we don't think MAP should ever have been red above 30 for an SR22T. Issue 2: Fuel flow should turn yellow above 36 GPH and red above 39
gph. The alert should fire at >36 gph on the SR22T. Do we know the exact flavor SR22T your installer loaded? Issue 3: I just made another post response to this one on a different thread. Issue 4: By "FLTA inoperative" do you mean you have a yellow message at the top of the display that says "FLTA Inhibited"? That happens anytime you are flying low in/around airport traffic pattern areas. On the 2D map, we depict those areas with a white hatching indication. If your TVV (velocity vector) is in those white hatching areas or pointed to one such that your aircraft vector is about to take you into one, we suppress the FLTA algorithm so you're not getting nuisance terrain alerting in the normal traffic pattern or landing phase. |

I just noted that my post above dropped the color bands depiction. If you send me your email, I can email you the color band depictions for reference.

Thanks. My email is roy@helsing.com. I would appreciate the email as I am taking the plane to my SC on Tuesday and I can share it with them.
